A huge favorite in my family is Me Me’s Lemon “Ice-Box” Pie. The name comes from the pre refrigeration days, the “Ice-Box” kept everything cold. This pie is a make ahead, put in the refrigerator pie, served cold. It is the perfect combination of tart, creamy and sweet decadence. Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodles:  what a funny name for a delicious, easy cookie. I was an adult before I ever ate one of these treats, not sure how that happened, but I am hooked now. When my son brings friends home from college these disappear fast and because they are so easy, making more is a snap, but in truth “more is never enough!”  I love these warm out of the oven while they are soft.
